East Lancashire is home to a number of first class Dental Practices. Whilst the primary focus of any practice is its patients and the well being of their dental care each practice is made of a group of both highly skilled and administrative staff. Whilst a HR resource of their own would be a financial overhead to the business each business recognises the need for HR intervention when it comes to managing their workforce no matter what size!

Whilst the HR Support to the dental care profession is varied our support typically includes supporting management with challenging conversations around performance management including attendance, attitude and customer service. Most recently we have supported one practice with three consecutive maternity cases (quite unusual!) by advising not only maternity rights and entitlements of each of the individuals but also supporting the practice manager with the recruitment campaign to cover three positions temporarily given that all three employees will go on maternity leave at the same time.
