An established engineering manufacturer based in the heart of East Lancashire. Although traditionally a family firm, the business has expanded to a workforce of almost one hundred employees.
Having established an excellent working relationship from the onset, HR Partner is now in its second year of supporting the Company.
HR Partner was approached by the business initially to support them with some significant business changes. Our retained on-site HR services meant that a dedicated Consultant supported the Senior Management Team through a business critical merger and acquisition, advising on the legal implications and employment rights of those affected by the changes.
In addition, in its first year of supporting the business, HR Partner successfully lead a restructuring programme which included the closure of one site and a relocation to the Company’s Head Office premises. For this HR Partner provided a lead resource in the Trade union Consultations and individual 1-1 consultation process ensuring that the Company’s legal obligation regarding consultation were adhered to.
